Taeyang Rocking it in Burberry

In one of Taeyang’s promotional photo for SOLAR, he wore a shirt from Burberry Fall 2010 collection and at the Pentaport Music Festival, he wore a leather vest from the Spring 2011 retailed for over $4,000.

When I first looked the Fall 2010 collection and saw that shirt, I was like “The model is slowing morphing into an armadillo?” It’s one of those thing that if on the wrong person, it will go completely wrong. However, on Taeyang, I loved it!!! It emphasizes his masculinity and it’s simple enough to give a uniqueness to a black and white photo. Overall, I love the shirt on Taeyang but on the runway model….ehhhh.

Regarding the leather vest, I loved it on the runway and I loved it even more on Taeyang. It is the perfect performance outerwear. Christopher Bailer referenced rockstars for Burberry Spring 2011 collection and that vest sums up all the rockstar-ness of the collection perfectly. The spikes are amazing.

I was already obsessed with GD’s spike bags and now the vest just blew my mind away.
